Sophos VPN guide
Please see the attached for assistance on setting up your Sophos VPN access
As part of following this guide you will gain full access to Sophos VPN and enable remote access from your laptop when away from the Online Direct network.
PLEASE BE ADVISED - IF YOU HAVE NOT USED SOPHOS PREVIOUSLY YOU WILL NEED TO RAISE A REQUEST FIRST WITH SERVICE DESK IN ORDER TO GRANT YOUR ACCESS

Open Internet explorer/Chrome/Firefox on your laptop and go to the following address https://remote.onlinedirect.co.uk:10000/
- Now enter your domain credentials in the username and password text boxes (these will be the same credentials as you use to logon to your laptop) and then click ‘Login’
3. Once logged on you will be presented with the Sophos ‘Welcome to the UserPortal’ homepage, from here you will now need to select ‘Remote Access’ from the top left pane
4. You will now need to select the first ‘Download’ button, which will begin momentarily
5. Once download has completed, please select it from either your downloads folder or from within your chosen internet browser
6. Please select ‘Yes’ to the following message
7. The Sophos setup windows will then appear, from here you can begin the install process by selecting ‘Next’
8. Please then select ‘I agree’
10. Once install has finished please select ‘Next’
11. And then select ‘Finish’
12. Once Sophos VPN has finished installed you’re now setup and ready to initiate connection. This can be done by right clicking on the traffic lights icon on your toolbar and selecting ‘Connect’
13. Please then enter your domain credentials and select ‘OK’
14. The traffic light icon will then begin to turn yellow, and then finally green. Once the signal turns to green you are successfully connected
